All Blacks coach Scott Robertson has today named a 33-man squad for the upcoming three test series against France, with the first match in Dunedin on 5th July.
There are five uncapped players named in the squad, with additional players named as injury cover. Chiefs hooker Brodie McAlister and prop Ollie Norris, Highlanders lock Fabian Holland and midfielder Timoci Tavatavanawai, and Hurricanes flanker Du’Plessis Kirifi are the new players, while Crusaders number eight Christian Lio-Willie and Chiefs outside back Emoni Narawa are the injury cover for Luke Jacobson and Anton Lienert-Brown.
The side will be captained by Crusader Scott Barrett, with support from vice captains Ardie Savea and Jordie Barrett.
Unavailable for selection because of injury are Hurricanes hooker Asafo Aumua, and Blues players Ofa Tu’ungafasi, Sam Darry, Peter Lakai and Stephen Perofeta.
