Australia And South Africa Get Wins

Australia have beaten England 30-28 in Perth, whist playing the last 46 minutes of the match with 14 men. Lock Darcy Swain was sent off after head-butting Jonny Hill for retaliating for having his hair pulled. Australia had gone to the break at 6-6 after loosing fullback Tom Banks with a broken arm and prop Alan Alaalatoa to a head injury. Australia was behind 14-9 after 60 minutes, but two tries in seven minutes to Jordan Petaia and Folau Fainga’a put them ahead, and when Pete Samu added a third in the 77th minute the game was over at 30-14. England then ran in late tries to Henry Arundell and Jack van Poortvliet in injury time.

South Africa have kicked a penalty goal in injury time to win 32-29 against Wales at Loftus Versfeld. It was a controversial ending to the match in which captain Dan Biggar was penalised for an intentional knock-on, and Wales had four players yellow carded. At one stage late in the match Wales were down to 12 players and had a 75th minute penalty try awarded against them, only for replacement hooker Dewi Lake to hit back with a try for Wales to tie the match.

All Blacks Win Against Wales

The All Blacks have started their Northern Tour with a 54-16 win against Wales on Sunday. The All Blacks had only led 18-6 at halftime after trading early penalties, with an intercept try from Beauden Barrett being the first five pointer. Barrett, playing in his 100th test scored a second intercept try late in the second half, which was one of five in the half.

All Blacks Named To Face Wales

All Black coach Ian Foster has named his side to face Wales in their match at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Sunday 5.15am NZT.

The side is much changed from the match against USA last week, with lock and captain Sam Whitelock, flanker Dalton Papalii and wing Will Jordan the only one's remaining from the starting side. First five Beauden Barrett gets the nod ahead of Richie Mo'unga, and will play his 100th match for the All Blacks, while TJ Perenara starts at halfback, and Jordie Barrett at fullback.

All Blacks And Wales Teams Named For Bronze Playoff

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has named his side for his final match as coach, with seven changes from the start side that lost to England in their semi-final match.
Forwards Dane Coles, Shannon Frizell, and Sam Cane, and backs Rieko Ioane, Sonny Bill Williams, Ryan Crotty and Ben Smith will all start while Scott Barrett will move from Blindside flanker to lock.
It will be the final All Blacks match for captain Kieran Read, Ben Smith, Ryan Crotty and Matt Todd, who are all retiring from international rugby at the end of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

South Africa And Wales Sides Named For Rugby World Cup Semi-Final

Wales coach Warren Gatland has named his side to face South Africa in their 2019 Rugby World Cup semi-final.
Gatland has named Leigh Halfpenny to start at fullback after Liam Williams was injured at training on Thursday, while centre Jonathan Davies returns to the side after withdrawing late before the France match with a knee injury.
